It begins the moment a stronger connection is established between the ordinary self and the greater aspects of who you are. It begins when the channel opens and a relationship starts to form between your everyday awareness and your soul, your higher self, your guides, and the greater intelligence flowing throughout the universe.
For many people this awakening begins quietly. It may begin through a dream, an intuition, a feeling, a moment of inspiration, or a simple realization that there is more to life than what can be seen with the physical eyes. Whatever doorway opens first, the awakening begins when you become willing to participate in a greater relationship with life itself. Once that relationship begins, awareness starts expanding. Patterns become visible. Synchronicities become more frequent. Intuitive impressions become stronger. Life begins speaking through people, opportunities, dreams, emotions, symbols, and experiences. What once appeared random begins revealing a deeper order and interconnectedness.
One of the first things many practitioners discover is that channeling accelerates growth. Channeling is not simply a method of receiving information. It becomes a catalyst for transformation. Lessons that once took years to learn may now arrive in months. Insights begin appearing more quickly. Old emotional patterns surface for healing. Areas of life that require attention become increasingly difficult to ignore. The channel begins reorganizing your life around growth rather than comfort. This accelerated path is not a punishment. As old limitations begin falling away, a new awareness starts to emerge. You begin noticing opportunities that previously remained invisible. Solutions appear where confusion once existed. New possibilities become available. New directions begin calling your attention. One of the great gifts of awakening is not simply receiving guidance. It is developing the ability to recognize opportunities that were already present but hidden behind old ways of thinking and perceiving. Opportunity does not knock only once. It appears repeatedly throughout life. The awakening simply increases your ability to recognize and act upon those opportunities.
As this process continues, something else begins awakening within you. The dreamer. The creator. The architect of your reality. You begin realizing that life is not merely happening to you. You are participating in its creation. Rather than endlessly trying to repair the past, you begin creating the future. Rather than constantly reacting to circumstances, you begin consciously shaping your reality through awareness, intention, imagination, and action. The awakened channel gradually realizes that they are not simply observing life. They are helping create it.
Yet this awakening does not unfold in a straight line. Like the tides of the ocean, there are periods of expansion and periods of integration. Sometimes the connection feels strong and powerful. Sometimes it feels quieter. Sometimes growth occurs rapidly. Sometimes growth appears to slow down. Many practitioners mistakenly believe they have lost their connection during these quieter periods. In reality, they are often integrating what they have already received. The tide may go out, but the ocean remains. The current continues moving beneath the surface.
This is one of the most important things to understand about awakening. Many people hear the phrase accelerated growth and assume it means life becomes overwhelming. This is not necessarily the case. Accelerated growth does not mean carrying more weight. It often means moving into greater alignment. Things begin happening more quickly because there is less resistance between where you are and where you are going. Lessons arrive sooner. Opportunities appear more frequently. Synchronicities become more noticeable. Life begins organizing itself around your growth.
The accelerated path is not about rushing through life. It is about moving with life. Imagine entering a powerful ocean current. You are still swimming. You are still participating. You are still choosing your direction. Yet the current is carrying you forward. You are no longer fighting against the movement of the water. In the same way, channeling often feels as though you have entered a greater current of growth. The right people appear. The right lessons arrive. The right opportunities emerge. Life begins organizing itself around your development. There are still tides, still periods of movement and stillness, but beneath it all there is a deeper current continuously carrying you forward.
Over time, channeling evolves beyond personal growth and begins moving toward service. The practitioner becomes more than a receiver of information. They become a beacon, a conduit, and a stabilizing presence for others. The wisdom they have received begins expressing itself through how they live, speak, love, teach, heal, create, and serve. Their life becomes the teaching. Their presence becomes part of the transmission.
This is why the Great Awakening is not an event. It is a relationship. It is a relationship between the ordinary self and the soul. A relationship between the conscious mind and the higher mind. A relationship between the human self and the divine. A relationship between the individual current and the universal current. As this relationship deepens, awareness deepens. As awareness deepens, the channel deepens. As the channel deepens, the awakening deepens.
The Great Awakening is not a destination that you arrive at one day. It is a living process. A continual unfolding. A continual remembering. A continual expansion into more of who you have always been. Through channeling, you begin to discover that the awakening was never something outside of you waiting to happen. The awakening was always within you, patiently waiting for you to begin listening.
