Electromagnetic Interference & the Channel’s Field
How Your Energy Affects Technology — and How to Stay Balanced
New Daily Inspirational Write Up For Tuesday Oct 6
There are times when I am deeply channeling, receiving downloads, moving through intense emotional processing, healing, writing, or simply carrying a very strong energetic field when something rather interesting seems to happen around technology.
The screen freezes. The message refuses to send. The phone suddenly shuts down. The battery that was perfectly fine five minutes ago begins draining. The recording stops. The internet glitches. Or my personal favourite: you are right in the middle of creating something important and—boom—the whole thing disappears.
Now, before we decide that every frozen laptop is evidence of an interdimensional electromagnetic event, let’s use some common sense.
Technology glitches because technology glitches. Batteries get old. Internet connections fail. Computers crash. Sometimes the problem is incredibly spiritual: you forgot to save the bloody document.
Within my channeling teachings, however, I believe there is something valuable to explore around the relationship between frequency, the channel’s energetic field, and the environment surrounding the channel. Earlier in this work, we explored the idea of creating a complementary frequency match with your guide, allowing your own field to become increasingly receptive to the information, energy, and consciousness being transmitted.
So what happens when that field becomes highly activated while you are surrounded by technology?
The Activated Field
When you enter a deeper channeling state, your experience of your own field can change considerably. Your breathing changes. Your awareness shifts. You may experience heat through the hands or upper body, increased sensitivity, changes in bodily perception, tingling, vibration, or the feeling that the boundaries of your physical body have somehow become different.
Within the spiritual framework I teach, I describe channeling as developing a complementary frequency match between yourself and your guide. You raise your frequency, open your field, become increasingly receptive, and learn how to maintain enough physical presence to translate what is being received.
Now imagine doing this intensely for hours.
Perhaps you have been channeling, writing, healing, teaching, emotionally processing, receiving information, and moving through one energetic shift after another. Sometimes you can come out of that experience absolutely buzzing. You are still here. You are still yourself. You are still functioning. Yet your whole being can feel electrically alive.
This is where grounding becomes extremely important.
A strong channel requires a strong and balanced nervous system. If you become shaky, fatigued, overstimulated, emotionally dysregulated, or depleted after channeling, the answer is not necessarily to push yourself harder. Your body may simply be asking you for grounding, rest, hydration, movement, silence, nourishment, or time in nature.
There is tremendous power in becoming highly receptive.
There is equal power in knowing how to come back into your body.
When Technology Begins to Glitch
Some channels report noticing unusual technological behaviour when they are highly activated: phones behaving strangely, recording equipment cutting out, batteries draining, computers freezing, or electronics seemingly becoming temperamental around them. I have experienced enough unusual moments myself that I pay attention when patterns seem to occur.
Within my spiritual understanding, there are several possibilities I consider. Perhaps my field is overstimulated and I need grounding. Perhaps I have been channeling for too long without allowing the physical body time to integrate. Perhaps the energetic environment around me feels particularly intense. Perhaps I simply need to step away, reset myself, and return later.
And sometimes, yes, the computer is just being a computer.
Discernment matters here. We do not need to transform every technological inconvenience into a multidimensional event. If your laptop crashes every afternoon at three o’clock, check the laptop. If your battery constantly dies, check the battery. If the internet continually disappears, call your internet provider.
Being spiritual does not mean abandoning practical reality.
Quite the opposite.
The more deeply you channel, the more grounded I believe you should become.
Ground the Field Before and After Channeling
One of the simplest practices is learning how to bring yourself fully back into your physical body before and after a deep session. Breathe slowly. Feel your feet. Walk. Stretch. Sit against a tree. Put your hands into the Earth. Drink water. Eat something nourishing. Practice yoga or Tai Chi. Move your body and allow some of that intensity to settle.
I have always taught that grounding, emotional stability, stillness, and reducing unnecessary overstimulation can support clearer reception. You are not trying to eliminate your sensitivity or suppress your energy. You are learning how to hold greater intensity without becoming overwhelmed by it.
You can affirm:
I am grounded. I am in my body. My energy is calm, stable, and safe. I am a clear conduit of the Divine. So be it.
Do not simply repeat the words mechanically. Feel what you are saying. Bring your awareness into your physical body. Feel the ground underneath you and allow yourself to settle.
Harmonizing With Your Environment
Before I record, write, upload, or work with something technologically important, I may consciously bring my attention toward the relationship between my own state and the environment around me. For me, intention matters. In the same way that I intentionally prepare myself before channeling, I can intentionally prepare myself before working.
You might say:
I harmonize my energy with this space and with the technology I am using. May this work flow with ease, grace, clarity, balance, and protection. So be it.
Whether you understand this spiritually, psychologically, energetically, or simply as a ritual that helps settle your attention, notice what the practice does within you. You become present instead of frantic. You stop fighting the moment. You breathe. You settle yourself before continuing.
Some people also enjoy incorporating crystals such as shungite, black tourmaline, hematite, or smoky quartz into their spiritual workspace. Others may use sound bowls, salt baths, cold water, movement, breathwork, nature, grounding mats, or other personal rituals. I regard these as supportive spiritual practices rather than substitutes for ordinary electrical safety, equipment maintenance, backups, or troubleshooting.
Your Guides and Technology
You can also bring your guiding team into your intention if that resonates with your channeling practice. Throughout this work, I have taught channeling as the development of a relationship involving your Soul, Higher Self, guides, and your own increasingly refined awareness.
You could simply ask:
I ask my guides and healing team to assist me in maintaining a calm, clear, grounded environment while I work. Help me remain balanced within my body and present within this physical space. May everything needed for this session flow with ease and grace. So be it.
Notice that we are not handing responsibility over to our guides.
You still save your work. You still charge the battery. You still back up the computer. You still check the cables.
God/Goddess gave you intuition. God/Goddess also gave you the save button.
Clearing Excess Charge
After a particularly deep channeling session, pay attention to yourself.
Are you calm?
Are you grounded?
Are you exhausted?
Are you buzzing?
Is your mind racing even though the session has ended?
Can you feel your feet?
Are you actually present within your surroundings?
Do not immediately assume that more spiritual work is the answer. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is eat, shower, walk outside, laugh, play with the dogs, stretch, drink some water, and return to ordinary life.
Channeling is supposed to become integrated into your life, not remove you from it. Grounding, presence, patience, emotional maturity, and a regulated nervous system are important foundations for maintaining clarity.
Try a salt bath. Take a cool shower. Walk barefoot through the grass when conditions are safe. Shake your body. Dance. Practice Tai Chi or yoga. Use sound. Take several long breaths and slowly release through the exhale. Sit quietly underneath a cedar tree and do absolutely nothing for a while.
Then affirm:
I am balanced. I am in harmony. I am aligned.
Do Not Fear Your Own Energy
Perhaps this is the deeper teaching underneath this entire chapter.
Do not become frightened of your own sensitivity simply because unusual things sometimes seem to happen around you. At the same time, do not romanticize instability and interpret every disruption as evidence that you are becoming increasingly powerful.
Power without balance is not mastery.
The mature channel learns how to hold greater intensity while becoming more grounded, not less. More present. More responsible. More emotionally stable. More capable of functioning within ordinary life while simultaneously remaining connected to extraordinary states of consciousness.
That is what integration looks like.
There may still be days when everything glitches. Your upload fails at ninety-nine percent. The battery dies. The recording disappears. The internet decides it has completed its earthly mission and leaves you completely.
Breathe.
Save your work again. Back it up. Reset the equipment. Ground yourself. Try again.
You do not need to turn every disruption into a battle against the universe. Sometimes the deeper lesson is patience. Sometimes it is preparation. Sometimes it is learning not to react. Sometimes it is realizing that you were moving too quickly and needed to slow down.
The Grid-Holders and Amplifiers
As I write teachings like this, I often think about people who experience themselves as naturally carrying an intense presence. I know this experience personally. There are times when I sit surrounded by crystals, held within the cedar forest, and I can feel the strength of my own field. Sometimes people around an intense presence may notice emotions rising, old pain surfacing, or parts of themselves becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
Over time, I have learned that experiencing myself as carrying a strong field does not mean I have to make myself smaller.
It means I have to become increasingly responsible for how I carry myself.
This is for the grid-holders, the amplifiers, the healers, the channels, and the ones who have sometimes wondered why their presence seems to affect the environment around them.
Do not shrink your energy.
Stabilize your power.
Honor your beingness. Ground your light. Love your presence. Strengthen your nervous system. Become capable of holding greater intensity without requiring the world around you to carry the overflow.
Because ultimately, the goal of channeling is not to become so energetically activated that ordinary life stops functioning. The goal is to become such a clear, balanced, loving conduit that the Divine can move through you while you remain completely here.
Feet on the Earth.
Heart open.
Higher mind awake.
Channel clear.
Technology backed up.
So be it.
The Connection
There may already be moments when you feel something speaking through the silence.
A feeling…
A knowing…
A thought that seems to arrive from somewhere deeper.
Perhaps you have been channeling more than you realize.
Learning to channel is about developing that connection until you can recognize it, trust it, and work with it consciously.
If you’re ready to discover how your guides communicate with you, I’d be honored to walk beside you.
