You Are Selecting Reality With Every Thought 🌊

Attention Creates. Intention Directs. Choose Wisely ✨

New Daily Inspirational Write Up For Friday March 27

Objective of this section:

To clarify how intention and attention shape the inner field of the channel, determine what becomes conscious in trance, and influence the quality of the reality the practitioner selects, nourishes, and makes real.

In trance channeling, attention and intention do not stand apart from the work. They are part of the architecture of the work itself. The channel does not simply prepare the body, soften the environment, raise the vibration, and clear inner static, then somehow arrive at trance untouched by what they have been inwardly creating. What the practitioner intends and what the practitioner repeatedly gives attention to help determine the state of consciousness through which the contact will occur. Intention drives and creates experience. Attention selects what becomes conscious within that experience. One gives direction. The other gives substance. One sets the motion. The other feeds the manifestation.

Intention asks: what do you want to make real? What are you setting in motion? What are you choosing to build, invite, or create through your life, your energy, and your will? Attention then asks: what are you actually feeding with your consciousness every day? What are you dwelling on? What are you rehearsing? What do you repeatedly think, feel, imagine, and expect? In trance work, these are not small questions. They matter because the channel does not enter trance as an empty instrument cut off from their own inward life. The vessel carries the momentum of its own thought, focus, expectation, desire, and emotional leaning.

If intention is misaligned, the work becomes unstable. If attention is scattered, the work becomes diluted. A practitioner may say they want higher contact, clearer transmission, spiritual maturity, and deeper service, yet if their attention remains fixed on fear, dread, doubt, self-pity, shame, resentment, survival panic, or downward expectation, then that is the field they continue to empower. In this way, attention becomes the selector of reality. It determines which layer of possibility is nourished until it becomes conscious. The practitioner may perform spiritual steps, read the books, do the exercises, say the prayers, and speak of awakening, yet still return again and again to the same wounded fixation. When this happens, the mind keeps choosing the same reality because it keeps feeding the same field.

This is why attention must be understood as more than focus. It is selection. It is the act by which one slice of reality becomes conscious while another remains dormant. What you repeatedly attend to becomes vivid, energized, and more likely to manifest through your life. In trance channeling this has enormous consequences, because the quality of one’s attention influences the quality of the state one enters. If the mind is repeatedly rehearsing disaster, rehearsing inadequacy, rehearsing collapse, then the channel enters the work with a field already patterned by those expectations. If, however, the practitioner turns attention toward uplifted imagination, possibility, beauty, grace, love, wonder, and meaningful creation, then the field begins to organize around those higher selections instead.

Intention carries desire inside it. Desire is not separate from intention. It is one of its animating forces. Yet desire can descend or rise. It can become survival-based, contracted, self-absorbed, and greedy, seeking only security, belonging, obsession, or control. Or it can become refined, elevated, and graceful, moving toward thriving, goodwill, dignity, elegance, and service to something greater than the isolated self. This distinction matters in trance work because the quality of desire influences the quality of contact. Desire that is rooted in grasping, ambition, self-importance, or psychic hunger distorts the vessel. Desire that is rooted in love, expansion, sincerity, and service refines it.

As consciousness grows more acute, intention also becomes more acute. The force behind what one wants, why one wants it, and where that drive is pointed becomes sharper and more potent. This is why it becomes increasingly important to know whether your drive is moving downward into obsession or upward into spiritual grace. The same intensity that can turn into greed, fixation, or self-concern can also be lifted into elegance, refinement, goodwill, intuitive character, and a thriving desire to contribute to the higher needs of humanity. The channel must therefore ask: what kind of future am I inwardly authoring? What quality of force am I permitting to move through my desire?

Attention then determines whether that intention is actually being sustained in daily consciousness. A person may sincerely intend love, awakening, service, and success, yet repeatedly place their attention on grievance, fear, inferiority, anger, or old injury. In that case the intention is spoken, but the attention is building something else. This split weakens the field. In trance channeling, divided fields create distortion. The practitioner says one thing with intention while energizing another thing with attention. A coherent vessel requires that intention and attention begin to work together rather than against each other.

Expectation and imagination are part of attention. This is why attention is not passive. It is not merely noticing what exists. It is helping to make reality conscious by what it continues to feed. What a practitioner imagines, what they expect, what emotional future they rehearse inwardly, all of this contributes to the field they live inside. When expectation becomes repeatedly negative, the practitioner starts selecting the realities most compatible with those expectations. When imagination remains trapped in decline, fear, and mediocrity, it keeps opening the same range of futures. But when imagination is lifted and expectation is infused with beauty, possibility, wonder, passion, and grace, a different range of futures becomes available.

This is why so much of trance preparation is not only about the moment of contact, but about the discipline of consciousness before contact. The practitioner must become increasingly aware of what is being rehearsed inside the mind and emotional body. What are you making real all day long? What are you selecting again and again through your focus? Where does your mind go when it is left unguarded? What is your field repeatedly saying yes to? These questions are not separate from trance channeling. They are part of the preparation of the vessel, because the vessel is shaped by repetition.

The past also remains active through attention. Many people believe they must endlessly revisit what has already been learned, extracted, and understood. But once the gifts, lessons, and power have been taken back from the past, continuing to replay it keeps it conscious. The past remains present through repeated attention. If one continues to think and feel it over and over, one continues to nourish its reality. At a certain stage, the discipline is no longer further excavation but release. Stop selecting it. Stop replaying it. Stop making it conscious through repeated focus. Turn attention elsewhere. Turn it toward the future, toward wonder, toward creation, toward what can now be made real.

This does not mean denial. It means recognizing that attention is causative. It participates in the shaping of what becomes active in one’s field. If the treasures have been taken, if the lesson has been learned, if the power has been reclaimed, then attention must no longer remain chained to the old pattern. In trance work this is vital, because a channel who constantly reanimates the past weakens the clarity of the present field. The signal of guidance is more easily received when the practitioner is not continually filling the vessel with old emotional reruns.

Underlying all of this is the deeper principle that causation is not merely impact-based. It is resonant. The quality of one’s resonance determines a wedge of possible futures, a range of realities that can survive within that field. This means attention, intention, desire, feeling, imagination, and expectation are not random inner events. They help form the resonance through which future experience is selected. The higher the resonance, the brighter the range of possibility. The lower the resonance, the narrower and darker the available futures become. In trance channeling, this matters because the practitioner is not merely trying to receive information. The practitioner is participating in a field of resonant creation.

For this reason, intention and attention must be treated as sacred disciplines. Intention asks why you are here, what you are creating, what you are willing to build with your life, and what future sparks of creation you are ready to set in motion. Attention asks whether you are truly feeding that creation with your thought, feeling, expectation, and imagination. It is not enough to wish for a future and then starve it through contradictory focus. The future must be fed. It must be envisioned. It must be loved. It must be sustained in consciousness long enough to become real.

This also means the practitioner must invest fully in what they claim to believe in. Intention without devotion becomes weak. Attention without consistency becomes scattered. To build a dream, to build a future, to build a higher state of consciousness, one must offer time, energy, imagination, focus, passion, courage, and willingness. One must stop asking reality to invest in them while withholding investment from themselves. In the language of trance channeling, this means the vessel must become congruent. What it says it wants, what it gives energy to, and what it lives by must begin to align.

At its highest expression, intention and attention become acts of co-creation with God / Goddess. The practitioner no longer drifts unconsciously through the day, selecting realities through fear, survival, and old emotional patterning. Instead, the practitioner begins to consciously place intention inside the fertile soil of the soul and give sustained attention to what is worthy of becoming real. Confidence, compassion, forgiveness, excitement, hope, creativity, success, service, and love are no longer vague ideals. They become seeds planted into the field of being, nourished by repeated attention and matured by spiritual character.

When this understanding matures, trance channeling is no longer seen as something separate from the rest of life. The same principles that shape one’s future also shape the quality of contact. A chaotic, self-defeating, fear-driven attention weakens the channel. A coherent, loving, visionary attention strengthens it. An intention rooted in obsession, greed, or self-importance distorts the field. An intention rooted in grace, service, love, and sincere awakening refines the field. In this way, attention and intention become part of the vessel itself.

Everything in the work begins to ask the same question: where are you placing your attention, and what intention is driving it? Is your inner field built on negative ambition or on joyous, thriving, bountiful love of creation? Are you feeding collapse or possibility? Are you selecting pain as identity or using consciousness to open a different future? The answers to these questions do not remain theoretical. They shape the channel. They shape the contact. They shape the life.

This is why attention with intention, and intention with attention, must be understood clearly at the very beginning of the trance path. The practitioner is not only learning to enter altered states. The practitioner is learning to become a conscious selector of reality, a responsible steward of focus, and a disciplined co-creator whose inner field is no longer left to accident. When intention and attention begin to move together, the vessel becomes far more coherent. And where there is coherence, trance can deepenAre you ready to awaken the natural channeling ability that already exists within you?
