🌌 Creating the Trance Container 🌌
New Daily Inspirational Write Up For Friday Aug 19
One of the most important things I have learned about trance channeling is that you do not simply sit down and force yourself into a trance state. You create the conditions for it. You prepare the physical body, calm the emotions, focus the mind, gather your energy back to yourself, and begin entering a state where your entire being feels more expansive, more receptive, more harmonious, and more available to the higher realms.
This is what I call creating the trance container.
The trance container is not only your physical posture. It is the whole environment you create within yourself. Your body matters because if you are uncomfortable, sore, exhausted, freezing, overheating, or constantly readjusting yourself, your attention keeps being pulled back into the physical discomfort. Your mind matters because if half of your energy is arguing with somebody, worrying about tomorrow, replaying resentment, complaining, blaming, or scattering itself across twenty different responsibilities, then you are not fully present for the channeling space.
Sometimes before I channel, I become aware of where all my energy has gone. Where are my thoughts? Where are my emotions? Who am I still having an imaginary conversation with? Where am I complaining, blaming, resenting, or worrying? Then I call that energy back to myself. I release what I can, forgive what I can, and imagine all that scattered energy moving through Creator’s light before returning to me cleansed, purified, and available again.
You cannot build a strong trance container while half of you is somewhere else.
Then I begin to lift.
I like to imagine that I am moving into a lighter, more expansive spiritual space. Sometimes it feels almost like floating. Maybe you have felt that feeling while lying on the water, sitting beside a river, feeling the wind move across your face, standing in a temple, listening to beautiful music, or sitting beneath a tree where suddenly everything feels quieter and more sacred. For me, nature is my church, and I am my temple. I do not have to go somewhere else to find that sacred state. I begin creating it within myself.
This is where your posture begins to matter in a completely different way. You are not trying to sit like some perfect spiritual statue. You are discovering which position allows you to feel the most open and expansive. Sometimes the smallest movement changes everything. You straighten slightly. Your shoulders drop. Your jaw relaxes. Your head tilts forward just a little. You breathe deeper into your chest and diaphragm, and suddenly the entire feeling of the space changes.
One image I have used for years is Buddha floating on the lotus flower. Supported, grounded, but almost weightless. I repeat it sometimes because it reminds my body of the state I am looking for. I am not collapsing into the chair, and I am not rigidly holding myself upright. I am strong but soft, stable but fluid. Be the wind. Effortless and flawless.
As the physical body begins to settle, your awareness can expand. Instead of shutting out everything around you, you begin listening through everything. What do you hear? What do you smell? What do you feel? What does the room feel like? What does the air feel like against your skin? What does a fragrance create inside your body? What happens when you become aware of the energy of the plants, the crystals, the trees, the ocean, or the space around you?
This is where channeling begins to become a language of feeling.
Your clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, claircognizance, intuition, imagination, emotional sensitivity, and physical awareness begin working together. You are no longer depending only upon your physical eyes and ears. You are learning how to listen with your entire being.
As the trance state begins to deepen, you may notice subtle markers. Your breathing may change. Your hands may become warm or tingle. Your feet may feel different. Your head may feel lighter. Your body may feel heavier, lighter, larger, smaller, or almost absent. You may feel a deep sense of love or compassion moving through you. You may become unusually aware of sounds while at the same time becoming less distracted by them.
These are not things you need to force.
You learn to recognize them.
That is the secret.
At first, you are creating the trance container. Then you begin noticing how the trance state feels. Then you learn the doorway. Eventually, you know exactly where the doorway is.
This is where trance channeling becomes much easier.
You stop wondering, Am I there yet? Is this trance? Is this working?
You recognize it.
You know the shift.
You know the feeling.
You know when ordinary consciousness has softened enough for the channeling mind to open.
And eventually, the chair, the crystal, the music, the posture, and the perfectly quiet room are no longer requirements. They were your training wheels. They helped you understand the state.
Later, you may discover the trance space while walking through your garden, sitting beneath a tree, teaching, painting, helping someone, travelling, or simply moving through your ordinary life. You begin realizing that the doorway was never hidden inside the chair.
The doorway was being trained inside you.
First you create the container.
Then you recognize the state.
Then you learn the doorway.
And eventually, you carry the doorway wherever you go.
The Voice You Recognize
There is a beautiful moment in channeling when something that once felt unfamiliar begins to feel familiar.
You recognize the energy.
You recognize the presence.
You recognize the way your guide communicates with you.
And eventually, the connection can begin to feel less like reaching for something distant and more like reconnecting with an old friend.
That relationship can be developed.
If you’re ready to begin discovering your own connection, I’d be honored to help you.
