🌌 From Imagining Your Guide to Meeting Your Guide 🌌
New Daily Inspirational Write Up For Tuesday Aug 18
There comes a strange and beautiful moment in learning to channel when everything you have studied stops being theory. You have read about guides. You have practiced trance. You have worked on relaxation, concentration, sensing energy, imagination, discernment, and learning how your channeling mind works. You have probably spent quite a bit of time thinking about what it will be like when you finally consciously meet your guide.
Then the moment actually arrives.
And suddenly the person who has been saying, “I’m ready, I’m ready, I want to meet my guide,” sometimes says, “Wait a minute. Am I actually ready?”
I have watched this happen many times. The palms become sweaty. The breathing changes. The mind starts firing questions: What if I make it up? What if I attract the wrong guide? What if I cannot tell who they are? What if nothing happens? What if something really does happen? What if my life changes afterward?
Beautiful.
Now we are somewhere real.
Healthy fear does not always mean turn around. Sometimes healthy fear means you finally recognize the gravity of the doorway you are approaching. There is a tremendous difference between wanting to channel as an idea and realizing that you are preparing to develop an ongoing relationship with an intelligence you experience as existing beyond your ordinary conscious awareness.
This is why I do not rush people through this stage. There is no gold medal for meeting your guide the fastest. If fear, dread, uncertainty, or hesitation rises strongly, pause. Go back into your teachings. Look at what you are afraid of. Develop your discernment. Ask questions. Work on the parts of yourself that still need reassurance, understanding, healing, or time.
You can come back tomorrow.
You can come back next month.
The doorway is not going anywhere.
When you do feel ready, begin with love. Expand into joy. Remember the defining moments of your life that remind you why you want to channel. Remember your desire to serve, to learn, to grow, to assist humanity, to share wisdom, and to become more intimate with the Divine. Let that intention become the frequency through which you approach the connection.
Then allow imagination to become the beginning of the bridge.
Maybe you imagine a doorway. Maybe it looks like a stargate. Maybe it is an enormous temple entrance. Maybe it is a tiny little door like something out of Alice in Wonderland. Maybe there is no physical-looking door at all and you simply feel a space opening inside your heart.
The design is not the important part.
The willingness is.
Before walking through, ask yourself something sincerely: Am I ready to make a greater commitment to myself and to the path of service opening before me?
Listen to the answer.
Because channeling can change your life. Once you begin developing a clear relationship with your guide, the way you understand yourself may change. Your priorities may change. Your direction may change. You may suddenly feel called to help people you never expected to meet, work in areas you never imagined, or become visible in ways that previously terrified you.
I know this intimately. My own path has brought people into my life from all over the world, from wildly different backgrounds and circumstances, asking questions I could never have predicted years earlier. Channeling did not simply give me information. It changed the range of people I could serve and the responsibility I felt toward that service.
So when the guide begins coming closer, do not only ask, What do you look like? What’s your name?
Feel.
What does the presence feel like?
Does the connection feel loving, respectful, expansive, dignified, patient, and supportive of your free will? Does the guide allow you to question? Does the relationship make room for your discernment? Do you feel encouraged to become more responsible rather than more dependent?
Become familiar with the energetic signature.
At first you may think you are imagining everything. That is all right. Imagination can be the first language through which the doorway becomes perceptible. Over time, repetition creates familiarity. You begin recognizing what consistently accompanies the connection: a color, a sensation, a feeling, a particular type of inner communication, a warmth, a peacefulness, a presence that becomes as recognizable to you as someone you know walking into the room.
That familiarity is where trust begins.
Not blind trust.
Relationship.
You ask questions. You observe. You feel. You develop boundaries. You allow the guide closer as the relationship becomes clearer. If something feels wrong, you stop. If you need more time, you take more time. If you need to return to your own soul and Higher Self before moving forward, you do exactly that.
Eventually there is a moment when the doorway does not feel like an exercise anymore.
You recognize the presence.
You recognize the feeling.
You recognize that something inside your awareness has shifted.
And then the excitement changes.
Instead of asking, Can I meet my guide?
You begin asking:
What are we going to create together?
The First Step
You don’t have to see the entire path before you take the first step.
Every channel begins somewhere.
Perhaps it begins with learning to become still.
Perhaps it begins with trusting what you feel.
Perhaps it begins with finally giving yourself permission to explore what you’ve sensed within you for years.
The connection grows as you grow.
When you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to help.
